Fund raising tracks
We will be holding an anual trek for fund raising. We will be tracking ancient Elephant tracks a journey of 200 km.
This event takes place in the winter months and lasts 7 days plus arrival day and depature day. We supply tents, breakfast, lunch and supper and water. A cash bar will be available during the day and night for drinks. We will walk an avarage 20km in the morning and an avarage 20km in the late afternoon.
We are in the process of setting the dates and rout, will be informing you shortly.
20 day expedition in aid of Desert Elephants
If you’d rather take direct action, you can join us on a 20 DAY EXPEDITION in aid of Desert Elephants to track these intelligent creatures and assist us in gathering the information needed to understand the Desert Elephant’s unique way of life.
Donations & Sponsoring
By making a donation you can help us to provide water for the Desert Elephants, through the erection of boreholes and maintenance of borehole equipment such as motors, pumps and windmills. Your contribution will also help fund Desert Elephant capture and relocation programmes when and where necessary.

Desert Elephant Tour - Diary
| Day - 01 | We depart Windhoek in the early morning for Hobatere Lodge |
| Day - 02 | Today at your own leasure. Brunch @ 11h00 and Game Drive. |
| Day - 03 | Depart for Epupa waterfalls |
| Day - 04 | Visit Chief Kapika enjoy a day with the Nomadic Himba’s. |
| Day - 05 | Depart for Hoarusib, over Opuwo and Kaoko Otavi. |
| Day - 06 | Go by foot and with abit of luck our first Elephant. |
| Day - 07 | Depart for Marble mountain close to Purros. |
| Day - 08 | Go on an early Morning Game Drive, Girafe, springbuck, Oryx. |
| Day - 09 | Head down to Warmquelle, Ongongo beautiful scenery. |
| Day - 10 | Go on an early morning game drive, might see Lions and Elephant! |
| Day - 11 | We will be exiting the Kaokoland and entering Damara Land after the Huanib River. |
| Day - 12 | Head down the Huanib River. Possibilities for the Day, Geribesflakte, Fountain on the Skeleton coast park boarder or Warm Quelle. |
| Day - 13 | We head further south to the Ugab River and stay over at the de Riet community for the next 2 nights. |
| Day - 14 | Travel to Twyvelvontein, world renowned for the rock paintings. Thereafter we go on a game drive to Desolation Valley. |
| Day - 15 | Travel over Desolation Valley to the Brandberg, our highest mountain. We will be camping at the foot of the Brandberg. |
| Day - 16 | Travel to the Messum Crater for our last wild camping. |
| Day - 17 | Our last destinaton, Swakopmund a coastel town. Here we will be spending our last 2 nights. |
| Day - 18 | Day can be spend at your own leisure. Possibility of taking a flight on the Sossus Flight. In the evening we have supper at one of many restaurants in Swakopmund. |
| Day - 19 | The tour ends. Arrangements will have been made concerning those who have their departure at Windhoek international Airport. |
| Day - 20 | Coming back home. |
